Our supporters are made up of businesses, organisations and local heroes across the Whitsunday, Isaac and Mackay region who are passionate about sharing the Real Mates Talk message and have fundraised or held events to support the Real Mates Talk campaign. North Queensland Bulk Ports of Mackay
North Queensland Bulk Ports of Mackay have supported the Real Mates Talk campaign by donating funds which will go towards helping Real Mates continue to have real conversations and spread the message of ask your mates ‘What’s up?’
Rob Bounds – Ride for Em
Rob Bounds, one of our incredible ambassadors rode 500km in 25 hours to raise awareness for mental health and to raise funds for Real Mates Talk in memory of his cousin, Em. The ‘Ride for Em’ event was very well supported by the local community.
A huge thank you to Rob and his team for a wonderful event and for making a difference in his community.
Chenery Fitness and Function
After one of their clients recently lost a family member to suicide, Nick and Amy from Chenery Fitness were inspired to get behind Real Mates Talk and use their event as a platform to encourage real conversations! CFF and attendees participated in a The David Goggins Challenge 4x4x48 – 4 miles (6.4k) every 4 hours for 48hours.
A huge thank you to Nick and Amy and their team for a wonderful event and for making a difference in our community.

Mackay Hockey
Mackay Hockey community have raised funds for Real Mates Talk at the Mental Health Superheroes round “Meet it or Beat it” challenge. Thanks to the corporate donations from Eggleton Plumbing, Newhaven Funerals, Cash Converters and Fisher Dore Lawyers. Thank you to Mackay Hocky for their generous donation.
Macrossan & Amiet Charitable Foundation
Macrossan & Amiet Charitable Foundation have supported the Real Mates Talk campaign with a generous donation. These funds will allow Real Mates Talk to continue to encourage men within the community have real conversations with their mates. We thank Macrossan & Amiet Charitable Foundation for their generosity.
MAD Cow Coffee
MAD Cow Coffee held a Coffee Run in support of Real Mates Talk and Grapevine Group. 304 coffees, 8 hours, 30 businesses hundreds of conversations – Well done to MAD Cow Coffee on Mackay’s Greatest Coffee Run and thank you for your support of the Real Mates Talk campaign.
Managed Mayhem Professional Organiser and Double H Creations
Jess from Managed Mayhem Professional Organiser and Hayley from Double H Creations held their first Clothes Swap for the year in Clermont on the 13th of March! All proceeds from the event will be donated the Real Mates Talk campaign!
Thank you Jess and Hayley for all you hard work and generosity! These fund will allow the Real Mates Talk campaign to spread the message far and wide!

Qube Holdings have supporting the Real Mates Talk campaign by helping us to spread our message on the Bishop billboard at the Mackay showgrounds.

Souths Leagues Club
Souths Leagues Club Mackay supported the Real Mates Talk campaign by donating one dollar from every entree that was purchased for the month of March. Real Mates Talk are looking forward to an ongoing partnership with Souths Leagues Club.
Wilmar Sugar
Under Wilmar Sugar’s Community Health and Safety Improvement Program grant, Real Mates Talk have been successful in receiving funds which will help us continue to deliver the campaign across the Whitsundays, Isaac and Mackay regions. This means creating more awareness and engagement for having REAL conversations to support our mates. Thanks again Craig Muddle and Wilmar Sugar, we are incredibly thankful.
