Chances Cafe is located on Shakespeare Street, Mackay.
Not only do they serve fantastic food but they support the community by employing people who are experiencing homelessness. Chances focuses on giving them the tools that they need in order to turn their lives around and exit the cycle of homelessness.
The aim of the program is to transition all employees into regular accommodation and employment within 6-12 months, allowing us to take on new employees who have also been disadvantaged by homelessness.
